Bunker Bean | A Story That Changed My Life

[Video] Have you ever heard a story that just stuck with you and changed your very thought process?

That is what the story of Bunker Bean is for me.

I first heard this story from Lennon Ledbetter.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy story time!

Here was a boy born in a little town. He didn’t have much. He was short. He was kind of heavy. His dad was an alcoholic. His mom had died. He was this lone little kid with no self-esteem at all. He walked hunched-shouldered. He didn’t do well in school. He didn’t have many friends. He didn’t have a very good self-image. Some people would call him a loser.

One day he went by one of those places where you pay money and the lady looks at her crystal ball and tells you things. A psychic. Little Bunker walked in.

She said, “If you give me money, I can tell you who you were. You see, there’s a truth out there called reincarnation. It’s true. In other words, before you are you, you were somebody. You were alive before. And if you will give me money, I will tell you who you were before.”

Bunker didn’t have much money, but he gave her some and she looked at her crystal ball. Soon she said, “Oh, you’re kidding! Do you know who you were Bunker Bean, before you were Bunker Bean?” Bunker said, “No, that’s why I gave you the money!”
…..

Then he sees the cops pulling this lady out in handcuffs. They were saying “She’s a fake! She’s a fake! There’s no such thing as reincarnation. She takes people’s money and she tells them things. She tells people they were somebody super. She’s a fake! She’s going to jail.”

Bunker thought, “What? I wasn’t Ramses? I wasn’t Napoleon?” He got back in his car and he drove back to his house. Bunker was stunned. He was depressed and deflated. And then a thought occurred to him, “It doesn’t matter if I was really Napoleon! All that mattered was that I believed! I believed! All that mattered was I believed.”

Who are you? Who do you want to be? What made the difference for Bunker?

In the end, his life changed because he believed that he had been someone great!

Changing your life for the better starts with BELIEF in yourself!

So find a mentor who tells you that you are great and that you have potential.
