They thanks for this post, I hadnt have a chance to check into the new Youtube editor. That is a really cool editor tool that makes it convenient, especially for those of who are not professional editors.

Hi Stacia, thanks for the video. I haven’t used the YouTube edit functions yet. I really wish I could swap the audio for one of my own recordings instead of the ones from YouTube. It’s still a cool feature though.

[..YouTube..] Very easy to understand. Thanks for embellishing. I was having troubles with sound out of sync with my vid speed. Is there a fix for that in the works ? The stabilize feature helped me to cut out a few jerky motions. Thank you for posting such a helpful video.

[..YouTube..] Hmmm. There must be something going wrong during your rendering process. I would start with tweaking my rendering settings and/or if you are using a program that has an option to export straight to YouTube, use that!

[..YouTube..] Ok but what is you wish to use this to trim tool to cut out a segment from within a video (For instance I made product review & would like to clip the distributor name since it changed which spans some 6 Seconds.) I normally use Virtual dub but was wondering if yt had a feature like this to use on established videos., thanks, Dan

26. March 2012 at 5:25 PM
[..YouTube..] did you find an answer to this?
27. March 2012 at 9:06 AM
[..YouTube..] Not really
27. March 2012 at 1:23 PM
[..YouTube..] You have to place 2 of the same video down. The first video you will cut out the end and the second video you will cut out the beginning. Do you know where the “scissors” icon went? I can’t figure out how to trim anymore.

1. June 2012 at 2:15 PM
[..YouTube..] can you cut the video
11. June 2012 at 10:28 PM
[..YouTube..] The only thing I don’t like about YouTube editor, you can’t edit out the middle of a video! If there’s something you want out of the middle, you can’t do it, only the beginning & end
Why??
